Hanley Motorsports Prepared for Sebring Triple Header Challenge

Sebring, FL
Hanley Motorsports is ready for a rousing and demanding weekend at Sebring International Raceway. Pirelli GT4 America arrives at the Florida circuit this weekend for a rare triple-header event. The weekend schedule includes a Friday afternoon make-up race, covering a previously rained-out race at NOLA Motorsports Park. For Hanley Motorsports, whose performance has been trending strongly upward since that cancellation, the weekend offers drivers Parker Thompson and Daniel Hanley three opportunities to earn their second win of the season.
Three consecutive days of racing on the famously bumpy and braking-focused 3.7-mile Florida road course will add an extra layer of excitement to the weekend. Already recognized as one of the most demanding tracks on the continent, the additional race will intensify challenges for each of the thirty-six race cars in the Pirelli GT4 America field.
Hanley Motorsports will be up for the challenge. Since qualifying second overall during the weather-impacted event at NOLA, the team won the following weekend at Circuit of the Americas and has appeared at the front of the field every event in practice, qualifying, and race sessions. Now, the triple-header weekend provides a unique opportunity for Parker Thompson, Daniel Hanley, and their white, red, orange, and yellow No. 999 GR Supra GT4 EVO to earn a second race victory.
Thompson will start second overall when Pirelli GT4 America kicks off the SRO weekend of racing on Friday at 5:00 PM EDT. Qualifying for the two remaining races will take place on Saturday morning, with Races 2 and 3 scheduled for Saturday at 5:00 PM and Sunday at 10:55 AM.

Reflecting on their preparations, Daniel Hanley expressed confidence in the team’s performance: “We had a great test here at Sebring. I’m optimistic about our abilities. We may be out of contention for the championship due to adversity early in the season, but we have every intention to challenge for race wins.”
Parker Thompson highlighted the team’s growing potential and the adaptability of their GR Supra GT4 EVO race car. “In the hands of our Hanley Motorsports engineers and crew, the No. 999 has been a very well-rounded and adaptable race car week in and week out. That has allowed Daniel and I to make the most of every session, and we’re seeing the full benefits of that as the end of the season approaches.”
